I love getting my Ipsy bag every month. It is always a little bag of surprises. With Ipsy, you pay $10 a month, you get a cosmetic bag and usually 4-5 full size cosmetics, sometimes with a deluxe sample thrown in. You can see a review of a past Ipsy bag here. This month’s Ipsy bag theme was “The Look of Love.” Let’s check out what I got!

I received the shade Peony Petal. It is SO pretty! It is sheer, without sparkle or shimmer. It almost looks like a pinkish mauve to me. My hubby complimented me on it, and he never notices my makeup. It has a nice, slight vanilla scent, but no flavor I could detect. This is a nice sized mini, and it will last me quite awhile. Love it!
Zoya Nail Polish in Odette.

I LOVE this polish. Not only is Zoya a great brand, but the color I received is fantastic! I would consider it a light, creamy, neutral purple. It is so pretty! I will definitely use this! This is my favorite item in the bag.

I received the shade, Fresh Melon. It is a bright pink, with a hint of orange. Did I mention it is bright? Yes, it is crazy bright. It is not a color I will ever be able to use. However, it is a very nice, silky blush that goes on quite nicely. ![photo 3 (45)]()
Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow and Base in one. Shade: Spice Rum

This shade is really beautiful. Creamy rich bronze, that would be perfect for a lid or highlight color. Tons of shimmer, and once it sets, it sticks around. However, except for swatching it on my hand, I will never use it. It smells HORRIBLE. It has a strong chemical smell, that gave me a headache almost instantly. I wouldn’t even begin to think that something with an odor like this would be good to use on your face at all, let alone your eyes. I emailed the manufacturer about this issue and have yet to hear back. This one is going into the trash, which is a real shame, because it truly is a pretty color.![photo 2 (52)]()

I really like Nume products. I used to use their shampoo and conditioner on a regular basis. It got to be too costly, so I have since switched. I have found their products leave my hair very soft. This is a nice deluxe sample which I will definitely use on one of my pampering bath nights!
Overall, I would say this was a great bag. Despite my extreme disappointment over the eyeshadow, and the lack of response to my email concerns about it, I am happy with it. I think for the money, Ipsy is a great value, and I have yet to get a bag that I wasn’t very happy with.
